Why does my profile need approval?

Each talent and employer profile goes through an initial review by our team to ensure completion, accuracy, and adherence to our Community Guidelines prior to approval. For employers, we also verify that your organization matches the industries we serve. We aim to approve profiles as soon as possible taking no more than 1-2 business days.

What details need to be approved?

We confirm that the following information is accurate and complete:

Job seekers

  • Personal information: profile photo, legal name, email address, headline, and mailing address.
  • Employment preferences: preferred employment type, worksite and location, time zone, availability, and compensation expectations.
  • Professional experience: your target roles, years of experience, introduction blurb, skills, and work experience.

Employers

  • User information: your position within the company and time zone.
  • Company details: company name, website, organization size, and company/billing address.

For this initial profile review, we primarily check for the essential, required details to get you started. You can always revisit and refine your profile at any time. If we identify any discrepancies, we’ll contact you directly with feedback or update requests.


What can I do while I wait for profile approval?

There are a few things you can do to make the most of your time:

Job seekers

  • Tour your dashboard: your dashboard is your central hub for viewing your recent activity, staying up-to-date on notifications, and managing tasks.
  • Review your account settings: update your personal details, enhance your profile, adjust employment preferences, and set email notification preferences.
  • Secure references: gathering references from previous managers and colleagues can strengthen your profile, helping you stand out and giving employers extra credibility in your qualifications.

Employers

  • Tour your dashboard: your dashboard provides an overview of your team’s recent hiring activity and your open searches and keeps you updated on notifications and tasks.
  • Find and save talent: while you can’t speak with talent directly just yet, you can still get a head start on your searches by browsing our local to national talent pool. Use our search filters to find qualified candidates for your open positions and save your favorites for easy reference.
  • Automate searches and receive alerts: set up automated searches to receive notifications when new candidates matching your criteria become available. Our team will proactively source and update your folder with qualified candidates meeting your specifications.
  • Manage additional account settings: customize your email notifications, message templates, and other settings to suit your individual or organizational preferences.

Job seekers

  • You’ll join our talent pool, and your profile becomes visible to employers searching for candidates with your listed skills and experience.
  • While you can’t initiate job or employer searches, employers can contact you directly to discuss open positions and schedule interviews.
  • You can interact with interested employers – and if a job offer is made, you can respond right on the platform.

Employers

  • You can invite other members, create hiring teams, and set role permissions for seamless collaboration. Track your team’s hiring activity in real time through the Activity tab of talent profiles.
  • You can start conversations directly in the app with candidates to discuss their backgrounds and experience, introduce open positions, and set up interviews.
  • You can manage the hiring process from start to finish and extend job offers to final candidates.
