GloballyHired is a next-generation hiring platform that bypasses the conventional application process and puts full-time job seekers, temps, and W2 consultants (as interim & fractional employees) directly in front of hiring managers.
Upon approval, we’ll put you in front of hiring managers who are actively looking for your particular skills and experience.
Better match your work experience with your life by setting your preferred worksite, hours, pay range, and more.
Once hired, our employer-of-record partner administers your pay, benefits & more so you can focus on delivering results.
Organizations of all types seek temps to support their short-term staffing needs from customer support to financial, technical, analytical, HR, and marketing.
Assignments vary widely and include filling in for absent employees, contributing to special projects and seasonal spikes, and helping short-handed teams with any number of tasks.
Temporary work is great for dynamic professionals who enjoy continous learning, new challenges, and a diversity of roles, projects, and industries.
p.s. Assignments can also lead to full-time roles, opening the door to long-term career opportunities!
Most organizations aren’t equipped to hire temp, interim or fractional employees on a W2 basis. With the help of our employer of record (EOR) partner, we make this possible by employing you directly and assigning you back to the companies who need your help… at zero cost to you.
Simply create a free profile from the link at the top of this page. You’ll receive a notification once your profile has been reviewed and accepted (usually within three business days). Once approved, it will appear in the search results for employers seeking your skills and experience. You’ll then receive a notification whenever an employer messages you, invites you to interview with them, or sends you an offer of employment. In the coming months, we’ll also be adding the ability for job seekers to find employers within our network and apply for roles that match their skills, experience, and career ambitions.
You’ll be able to set your own rate on your talent profile. For temp roles, this will be your desired hourly rate. For direct/permanent employment, this will be your desired annual compensation. If you’re open to either type of employment, you’re more than welcome to check the box for both and set both an hourly and annual rate.
Temporary employees (also referred to as temps or contingent workers) are hired under a contract for part-time, full-time, or seasonal roles. They are considered “at will” employees and typically paid by the hour.
Per the Department of Labor, an engagement is generally considered “temporary” if its duration is less than one year or fewer than 1,000 hours of work with the hiring organization.Temps are commonly hired through a staffing agency, who becomes their legal employer of record (EOR). While the hiring company has to verify the employee’s timesheets, it’s generally the staffing agency that handles administration tasks such as managing payroll, tax obligations, and the issuing of W-2 forms. This structured approach ensures that temporary workers are integrated seamlessly into the hiring organization while complying with legal and regulatory standards.
Not exactly. GloballyHired is not a temp agency in the traditional sense because we don’t employ recruiters to help companies find and place temp workers. Instead, we’re a platform that allows hiring managers and in-house recruiters to find, interview, and hire job seekers directly for different types of employment, including temporary work. That said, we do handle the same administrative responsibilities that a temp agency does (with the help of an employer of record & payroll partner).
Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) temporary employees are eligible to participate in a MEC (minimum essential coverage) healthcare plan after 30 days of employment.
It’s entirely FREE for job seekers to create a profile and use the platform. Plus, unlike most freelancer platforms, we do NOT take a cut of your income. Instead, employers are billed a markup on your rate, which covers all the usual payroll taxes plus a small fee to administer it on their behalf.
That said, we do charge a small one-time fee of $2.99 to OPTIONALLY verify your identity. While this verification is optional (for now), it is highly recommended. Employment fraud has become an unfortunate reality, so identity verification has become common practice for companies and agencies across the staffing industry. If you do choose to participate (and we hope you do!) then, once verified, you will get a nifty badge on your profile that lets employers know that you are who you say you are. This is the only fee we will ever charge to job seekers, and it just covers our costs to offer this service — we do not profit from it. Meanwhile, everyone benefits from making the platform safe for job seekers and employers alike.
It is standard practice for both temporary and permanent employment offers to be contingent upon a background check. The hiring organization does have the option to skip this screening, but most will require one.
More and more, companies are augmenting their traditional workforce of “permanent employees” with temporary, interim, and fractional employees to fill skills gaps and drive company initiatives. Creating a Talent profile is the first step to getting in front of those companies and landing your next role.
