Property Manager – Washington, D.C.

GloballyHired has been engaged by a multifamily housing group in Washington, D.C. to hire a Property Manager for immediate hire. This role is remote, though periodic on-site presence is required for property visits and vendor coordination. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day property operations, tenant relations, and vendor oversight.

Position Details

As a Property Manager, you’ll serve as the main point of contact for tenants and vendors, ensuring properties are well-maintained, financially stable, and fully compliant. You’ll oversee budgets, leasing operations, and service providers while driving tenant satisfaction.

In this role, you’ll also manage day-to-day operations, from coordinating move-ins and renewals to handling vendor negotiations and tracking occupancy trends. You’ll resolve tenant concerns in real time and provide ownership with accurate financial and operational reporting to support long-term property performance.

What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of property management experience with residential or mixed-use properties.

Proven skills in tenant relations and lease administration.

Strong knowledge of D.C. landlord-tenant laws and Fair Housing regulations.

Experience managing operating budgets, rent collection, and expense reporting.

Ability to oversee maintenance and vendor contracts.

Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi or AppFolio.

Excellent organizational and communication skills in fast-paced environments.

Compensation

This is a temporary role in Washington, D.C., with the potential to transition into a permanent position. Compensation ranges from $28–$42 per hour, depending on experience.
