Operations Specialist – Remote, United States

GloballyHired has been engaged by our client, a rapidly growing e-commerce and logistics company, to hire an Operations Specialist. This role is a full-time, temporary position with potential to transition into a permanent opportunity, supporting business operations and helping streamline workflows across multiple departments.

Position Details

Are you a detail-driven professional with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for operational excellence? Our client is seeking an Operations Specialist to support process improvement, manage vendor coordination, track KPIs, and ensure the smooth execution of daily operations.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the end-to-end operations cycle by monitoring supply chain activities, assisting with vendor and partner communications, and ensuring accurate reporting for leadership. You will also be expected to maintain operational documentation, support audits and compliance initiatives, and assist in implementing new processes that improve efficiency. The position requires proactive communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

This role is fully remote; however, candidates must be available to work standard business hours in the Eastern Time Zone (ET) to align with the client’s team.

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of experience in operations, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with workflow tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Airtable).

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Experience in e-commerce or logistics preferred.

Compensation

This position is remote, starting as a temporary contract role with potential to convert to permanent. Compensation ranges from $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and industry background.
