Leasing Agent – New York City

GloballyHired has been engaged by our client, a national residential apartment company, to lead the search for Leasing Agents in New York City. This client operates communities across high-density commercial and residential areas and is seeking highly organized, motivated Leasing Agents for immediate hire. This role is hybrid, requiring in-person availability for showings and resident support.

Position Details 

Are you a persuasive, customer-focused professional who enjoys matching people with their perfect home? We’re seeking Leasing Agents who can showcase properties, build rapport with prospects, and close leases efficiently while upholding excellent service standards. 

As a Leasing Agent, you’ll:

-Handle inquiries, conduct tours, process applications, and assist with marketing efforts.

-Work closely with property managers to ensure units are ready for move-in and occupancy goals are met.

-Deliver excellent service while driving leasing results.

The ideal candidate thrives in a sales-driven environment, is knowledgeable about the New York City rental market, and excels at building trust with prospective tenants.

What We’re Looking For 

-1–3 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience (real estate or property management preferred). 

-Strong sales and closing skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. 

-Ability to conduct property tours, explain lease terms, and process applications. 

-Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and leasing best practices. 

-Proficiency in leasing or CRM software; social media marketing skills a plus. 

-Dependable, responsive, and able to build rapport with tenants and prospects.

Compensation 

This is a temporary Leasing Agent opportunity in New York City with potential to transition into a permanent role. Compensation ranges from $21–$35 per hour, plus potential lease bonuses.
