GloballyHired has been engaged by our client, a rapidly scaling eCommerce company, to hire an Interim Director of Customer Success. This temporary leadership engagement will oversee customer satisfaction, retention, and process development during a period of rapid growth.

Position Details

Are you a customer success leader who thrives in scaling environments? Our client is seeking an Interim Director of Customer Success to design and implement customer engagement strategies, lead a team of account managers, and improve retention across a growing customer base.

As Interim Director of Customer Success, you’ll develop KPIs, manage escalations, and build scalable processes to improve onboarding and support. You’ll collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure customer needs translate into business strategy, while also mentoring team members to deliver best-in-class service. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader, customer advocate, and process builder who can deliver immediate impact in a high-growth setting. This remote engagement requires availability during U.S. Pacific Time Zone (PT) business hours.

What We’re Looking For

8–12 years of customer success or account management experience, with at least 4 years in leadership roles.

Experience building or scaling customer success programs in eCommerce or consumer-facing businesses.

Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ability to define KPIs, monitor customer health, and act on data-driven insights.

Skilled at conflict resolution and executive-level communication.

Proven experience implementing customer success tools or CRM platforms (e.g., Gainsight, Zendesk, Salesforce).

Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments and deliver measurable impact quickly.

Compensation

This interim engagement offers $90–$125 per hour, depending on experience, with the potential to transition into a permanent leadership role based on performance and business needs.
