Position Details
Are you an operational leader with a proven ability to build systems, teams, and scalable processes under pressure? We’re seeking Interim COOs who can step into companies navigating change whether it’s post-funding growth, leadership gaps, M&A activity, or operational inefficiencies.
As Interim COO, you’ll serve as the internal engine of the organization. You’ll work alongside CEOs, boards, and department heads to assess operations, implement systems, manage performance, and drive company-wide alignment. Ideal candidates are highly structured, execution-oriented, and able to deliver results without needing a long runway.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, ideally as COO, VP of Operations, or General Manager.
Track record of driving operational efficiency, team performance, and cross-functional alignment.
Experience leading through change—growth, restructuring, integration, or crisis response.
Strong background in P&L ownership, process improvement, and KPI-driven execution.
Ability to assess organizational health quickly and implement scalable systems and tools.
Comfortable collaborating with CEOs, investors, and department leads to define and execute strategy.
Excellent communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills in high-stakes environments.

Compensation
Interim COO roles are typically structured as full-time or fractional contract positions. Compensation ranges from $130–$250+ per hour, depending on market, company size, and scope of responsibility. Equity or performance-based incentives may be offered for operational turnaround, integration, or pre-exit engagements.
