Future Transportation Manager Opportunities

GloballyHired is expanding our on-demand hiring platform to support logistics and supply chain teams across the Dallas metro area. We’re looking for experienced Transportation Managers to lead daily fleet operations, manage carrier partnerships, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery performance across regional and national networks.

Position Details:

Are you a transportation professional who knows how to balance service, cost, and compliance? We’re seeking Transportation Managers who can oversee routing and scheduling, manage third-party carriers or in-house fleets, and ensure DOT and FMCSA compliance while meeting delivery SLAs.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of dispatchers and drivers (or manage 3PL relationships), optimize delivery routes, monitor freight spend, and partner with warehouse and customer service teams to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. The right candidate will be proactive, data-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

What We’re Looking For

5–10 years of experience in transportation, fleet, or logistics roles, including 2+ years in a leadership or management position.

Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and transportation compliance.

Experience with route optimization, freight cost analysis, and carrier management.

Familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP TM, Descartes, or similar).

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-volume delivery settings.

Strong communication and leadership skills to manage drivers and coordinate across departments.

Compensation

Transportation Manager roles may be full-time, temp-to-hire, or temporary-based depending on employer needs. Typical compensation ranges from $75,000–$135,000 annually, with higher ranges for candidates managing large-scale or multi-state operations, or with advanced TMS and compliance experience.
