Commercial Loan Underwriter – Dallas–Fort Worth, TX 

GloballyHired has been engaged by a financial institution in Dallas–Fort Worth to hire a Commercial Loan Underwriter for immediate hire. This role is focused on evaluating loan applications, assessing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with commercial real estate lending standards.

This role is remote – while the work can largely be performed remotely, candidates must be based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area for in-person collaboration as needed.

Position Details 

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys analyzing real estate transactions and ensuring deals make sense? As a Commercial Loan Underwriter, you’ll review applications, assess creditworthiness, and structure loans that balance client needs with lender risk. 

You’ll work closely with loan officers, analysts, and risk teams to evaluate financials, prepare recommendations, and ensure compliance with lending regulations. You’ll also prepare written credit memos for loan committees, collaborate with appraisers and third-party vendors to validate valuations, and monitor loan performance post-closing to identify emerging risks. 

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has sharp analytical skills, and understands the nuances of commercial real estate financing. 

What We’re Looking For 

2–5 years of underwriting, credit analysis, or commercial lending experience. 

Strong financial modeling and risk assessment skills. 

Knowledge of commercial real estate loan structures and collateral evaluation. 

Familiarity with federal lending regulations and compliance requirements. 

Ability to collaborate with loan officers, investors, and legal teams. 

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Compensation 

This is a full-time position in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX. Compensation ranges from $38–$55 per hour, depending on experience.
