Accountant – Remote, United States

GloballyHired has been engaged by our client, a national professional services company, to hire a Remote Accountant. This role is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity supporting a dynamic finance team while managing core accounting functions across multiple business units.

Position Details 

Are you a detail-oriented, analytical accounting professional with a strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls? Our client is seeking an Accountant who can manage general ledger activities, prepare accurate financial statements, support audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

In this role, you’ll handle journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/quarter-end close processes while partnering with finance leadership to strengthen reporting accuracy and improve internal workflows. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and experienced with accounting software and ERP systems in fast-paced business environments.

What We’re Looking For 

2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

Experience preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.

Familiarity with financial reporting and month-end/year-end close.

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).

Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

CPA or CPA-eligible candidates preferred.

Compensation 

This position is fully remote with an immediate start date. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and ERP expertise. CPA-certified candidates may qualify for higher-tier opportunities.
