What does it mean to be hired as a “permanent” employee?

When you accept permanent employment through GloballyHired, the organization that interviewed and offered you the role is directly hiring you. In other words, you become a regular W-2 employee of that organization. You integrate into the organization’s workforce on a long-term, ongoing basis (subject to the terms of your employment agreement and their policies).

In permanent employment, you report directly to the manager overseeing your work at the organization and they evaluate your performance. The organization that hired you also manages your payroll and provides you with entitled benefits. This may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, or other perks depending on their policies.
