How can I reschedule an interview?

We know that unexpected events can sometimes require rescheduling interviews with talent. While it’s best to avoid frequent changes, should the need arise, notify the candidate as soon as possible and express your continued interest in their candidacy or your enthusiasm for the forthcoming interview.

Rescheduling interviews with talent on GloballyHired

  1. Head over to the Interviews tab on the top navigation of your Dashboard.

  1. You will arrive at the All list, which shows interviews of all status types.

  1. Go to the Upcoming or Accepted interviews section to search and select the interview you need to reschedule. A pop-up will appear with the interview details.
  2. Under the talent’s name, click the Reschedule button.

  1. You’ll then be prompted to Confirm this action. Once confirmed, the platform will direct you to the Message Center to follow-up with the talent to coordinate the next best date/time to connect.

  1. Once a new date/time is decided, locate the interview invite and click Edit interview invite to update the details directly within the message. (If this is an interview scheduled via Calendly, a new window will open with your synced Calendly page for you to edit details and resend the updated invite.)

  1. Once you’ve saved changes, the talent will be notified to confirm the new interview request.

As a reminder, give ample notice when you need to reschedule. This not only strengthens your employer brand but also reflects professionalism throughout the interview process. Proactive communication and consideration go a long way in maintaining a positive impression with the candidate.
