Future Chief Procurement Officer Opportunities

We’re seeking experienced Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) and Vice Presidents of Procurement to lead enterprise-wide sourcing strategies and elevate vendor and spend management across complex operations.

Position Details:

Are you a senior procurement leader with a proven record of delivering cost savings, supply continuity, and operational efficiency? In these high-impact executive roles, you’ll be responsible for setting procurement strategy, overseeing global sourcing initiatives, and optimizing supplier performance across categories.

You’ll partner closely with finance, operations, legal, and executive leadership to align procurement with broader business goals. This includes leading contract negotiations, risk mitigation, supplier diversification, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers with strong change management skills and a deep understanding of procurement best practices, compliance standards, and analytics-driven decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Director, VP, or CPO).

Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost reduction programs.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams and global suppliers.

Expertise in procurement tech stacks (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc.) and data-driven performance reporting.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational transformation skills.

Compensation

Executive procurement roles may be full-time or temporary-based depending on employer needs. Typical compensation ranges from $140,000–$250,000+ annually, with additional incentives for candidates with global sourcing experience, MBA/CPSM/CPM certifications, or a track record of enterprise-wide cost savings and supplier innovation.
